Thursday night found Donald McIntosh in action at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series sanctioned opener. With 30 Super Late Models on hand for the 13th annual Scorcher, McIntosh logged a 4th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Coming short of a transfer spot into the A-Main with a 4th place outing in his consolation event, Donald was granted a provisional into the $10,000-to-win feature. After charging his way through the field early into the Top 10, Donald McIntosh got into a tangle with another competitor on lap 37 that dropped him back to a 12th place outing. (Michael Moats photo)
