July 29, 2017 - McIntosh Wraps Up Southern Nationals Series in Third
1Returning with the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series, Donald McIntosh traveled to Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Monday night for the eighth stop of the circuit. Timing in fastest overall in his qualifying group, McIntosh locked into the 2nd-starting position for the feature. 1Thursday night found McIntosh at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) competing in a field of 15 Super Late Models. After locking his spot into the show with the second fastest time in qualifying, McIntosh held his spot for all 35 laps in the feature to place 2nd behind Brandon Overton with Craig Vosbergen, Shanon Buckingham, and Ben Nicastri completing the Top 5 finishers.

1After losing Friday night’s Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series event at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) to Mother Nature, Donald headed to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) on Saturday night to wrap up the 11-race tour. Leading the night off with a 10-lap heat race victory, McIntosh earned the 2nd-starting position for the $10,000-to-win finale. Taking over the lead on lap 13, Donald went on to lead the next 26 laps until surrendering the top spot to Brandon Overton on lap 49. Holding his position in the remaining two circuits, McIntosh posted a runner-up finish behind Overton with Billy Ogle Jr., Dakotah Knuckles, and Shanon Buckingham rounding out the Top 5. July 21, 2017 - Three in a Row for Donald McIntosh at Swainsboro Raceway
1For the second round of the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series, Donald McIntosh was one of 23 Super Late Models signed in at Tri-County Race Track (Brasstown, North Carolina) on Monday night for the $3,500 top prize. Laying down the second fastest time overall behind Brandon Overton, McIntosh earned the 2nd-starting position for the A-Main. After running in a podium spot early, Donald suffered a flat tire on lap-29 sending him pitside. 1The following night brought 29 Southern Nationals followers to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee). Locking his spot into the feature via qualifying, McIntosh timed in fastest overall earning him the pole position. Jumping into the lead on the drop of the green flag, Donald led flag-to-flag capturing his fourth win of the season and a $3,500 payday. Vic Hill, Jake Knowles, David Doherty, and Jason Cardwell completed the Top 5 finishers in the 35-lapper.  

1After taking a scheduled day off on Wednesday, McIntosh returned to action on Thursday at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) for the fourth round of the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series. Following the fastest time overall in a field of 37 Super Late Models, McIntosh coasted to a 10-lap heat race win positioning him on the pole for the feature. Holding off the field after a caution flag came out with five laps remaining, Donald McIntosh wheeled his way to his second straight victory and fifth win on the season in the 35-lap affair. 1Friday night McIntosh was one of 28 Super Late Models registered in at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia) for the 53-lap main event. Leading the night off with a heat race victory, Donald earned the 5th-starting position for the feature. Pacing his way through the race, McIntosh jumped into the lead on lap 32 and held the top spot for seven laps. After losing the losing the lead to Casey Roberts, Donald McIntosh regained the top spot following a late-race caution and held off the field in the final 13 circuits to register his third straight win and sixth overall. With only five cars finishing the 53-lapper, Donald earned a $5,300 payday for his efforts.

1On Saturday Donald headed to Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) for the annual Rebel Yell. Moving up one spot in his heat race, McIntosh landed a 3rd place finish positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into the Top 10, Donald improved four spots in the 51-lap feature to place 8th.

Sunday night’s Southern Nationals sanctioned program at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) was postponed due to wet conditions.

July 15, 2017 - 6th Place Finish in Southern Nationals Opener at Wythe Raceway
1Beginning the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series, Donald McIntosh traveled to Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) on Saturday night for the $10,000-to-win opener. After timing in seventh fastest in his qualifying group, McIntosh secured his spot into the feature with a 5th place finish in his heat race. Coming from the 17th-starting position, Donald charged through the field eleven spots reeling in a solid 6th place finish.

July 8, 2017 - Donald McIntosh Attends LOLMDS Race at Smoky Mountain Speedway
1On Saturday night Donald McIntosh visited Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Mountain Moonshine Classic. Drawing 32 cars for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned program, McIntosh secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. 1Donald McIntosh traveled to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) on Sunday evening after wet conditions pushed back the Southern Nationals Bonus Series event back a day. With 20 Super Late Models signed in for the Firecracker 40, McIntosh secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a heat race victory.
