Kicking off the busy Memorial Day Weekend, Donald McIntosh visited Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Friday night for the Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals sanctioned opener. Leading the night off with a 10-lap heat race win, McIntosh earned the 5th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Working his way into a podium spot, Donald jumped up three positions to place 2nd behind Brandon Overton with Shanon Buckingham, Ricky Weiss, and David Payne rounding out the Top 5. The following night in a field of 41 Spring Nationals entries at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia), McIntosh timed in second fastest overall in qualifying locking him into the redraw. Earning the pole position for the feature alongside Dale McDowell, Donald dropped two positions in the 50-lap affair registering a 3rd place finish behind McDowell and Brandon Overton with Michael Page and Jason Croft completing the Top 5 finishers.
On Sunday for the $6,000-to-win the Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals sanctioned event at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia), McIntosh started the night off with fastest time overall in a field of 21 cars locking him on the pole for the feature.
