On Friday evening Donald McIntosh visited Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) for the Schaeffer’s Iron-Man Championship sanctioned contest. In a field of 19 cars, McIntosh secured his spot into the opening night feature with the fastest lap overall in time trials. Starting on the pole, Donald dropped three spots in the 30-lapper notching a 4th place finish behind Ashton Winger, Cory Hedgecock, and Michael Chilton with Connor Meade coming in 5th.
The following night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Iron-Man Moonshine Classic, Donald recorded the fourth fastest time in qualifying which positioned him 4th on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win finale. Jumping up one spot, Donald registered a 3rd place finish behind Ashton Winger and Cory Hedgecock with Connor Meade and David Crabtree rounding out the Top-5. (Michael Moats photo)
On Sunday McIntosh stopped at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) powering his No. 7 007 Race Car for the $3,000-to-win Independence Day Celebration. Following the eighth fastest lap in time trials, Donald improved three spots in the 40-lap feature to place 5th behind Austin Horton, Jake Knowles, Tyler Millwood, and Derek Ellis.
