Donald McIntosh traveled to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon to pilot the Blount Motorsports No. 7m Late Model for the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series-sanctioned Grinch 40. Drawing 22 cars for the second round of the six-race miniseries, McIntosh timed in sixth fastest overall in time trials before placing third in his heat race. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in ninth, Donald was up second by lap 26 but was unable to close the distance on him and Chris Madden, positioning him second in the final rundown with Kyle Strickler, Trent Ivey, and Benji Hicks rounding out the Top-5.
